For centuries, the horticultural industry has been negatively impacting our wild spaces, with one of the goals being to tame nature and create areas of organized exotic beauty. The great news is that we are seeing an increased desire to garden with nature in mind and many people are discovering the significant benefits native plants can have in supporting wildlife.
Join us to learn about plants you can use on your own property to attract birds, butterflies, and a friendly army of other beneficial insects. We’ll talk about the difference between native, non-native, as well as invasive species and why it matters. Learn how harnessing the power of nature can actually save us time and money in our gardening efforts, while benefiting our local ecosystems.
